More stuff about stuff and less about getting two. Long process. Painting on loom. Must finis
The blanket has been hanging for quite some time down at the Eckhaus Gallery on Main Street Kutztown. The pictures I have now are not so great but there will be better ones coming in the future. My studio time now has been spent making a shawl and some table runners along with some shibori dyed silk infinity scarves. A busy week to say none the less. The ever popular becoming a real human being needs to begin this weekend, starting with the Berks County Guild of Crafts, Spring Show. I will be selling some of the pieces I’ve shown on my site and some enamelings that I also do. Woo and Yay… pictures …… from my phone… booo
Got the blanket on and its halfway through. At this point I’m pretty stoked about the project. The only problem I’ve come across so far is the width is too long for my arms. At 43 inches its proving difficult to reach that far. At this point I have this and another set of scarves that I’m trying to work through finding it hard to get them on the loom though.
Cant wait to start a new project which I derp off to derp land for overshot pattern. The stripes are made of supreme bark, jade, and pink. Its to be about 41 inches wide and cut into two 60 inch strips. The strips will be joined together to make a blanket. Wooh and Yay overshot. The draft has already been laid out and has plenty of color. Ugly is my favorite color scheme.
